This ladle is made from the Japanese cherry birch tree.
Japanese cherry birch is a solid, hard material of the birch group.
The wood is chosen by its makers because its knots and grain are not noticeable and its texture does not interfere with dining.
It is large enough for home use.
This ladle is coated with a “polyurethane coating” as the final process, which conforms to the Food Sanitation Law in Japan.
The paint will come off little by little as you use it.
However, if handled with care, it can be enjoyed for a long time.
Dishwashers can also cause premature wear and tear.
We recommend using a soft sponge and mild detergent when washing.
With a wooden ladle like this, you can scoop desserts such as fruit punch in a large bowl,
or serve drinks with ice to everyone.
It’s good to pour a generous amount of grated yam over hot rice like Japanese do.
You can also serve as a ladle for serving hot pot dishes.
It would also be fun to put the whole pot of hot soup on the table and have people take as much as they like.
This ladle is gentle touch to the pot and smooth to the hand.
Please use it daily according to your favorite dishes.
