This is a basket named “Tall basket with lid” made of Madake bamboo and Chinese moonseed vines.
This basket is woven with strips of thinly peeled strips of the hard enamel outer skin of the bamboo.
This process allows the color to change over time to a deeper amber color and shines with a glossy appearance.
“Caution”

The handles and handle connections are held together with Chinese moonseed vines,
