These are baskets named “Square basket with lid” made of Madake bamboo and Chinese moonseed vines.
The maker calls it “Side basket”.
Here are two sizes, “small” and “medium.”
This basket is woven with strips of thinly peeled strips of the hard enamel outer skin of the bamboo.
This process allows the color to change over time to a deeper amber color and shines with a glossy appearance.
