This basket is made from Madake bamboo and Chinese moonseed vines.

Called “Oshiki” in Japanese,
it is a tray-like basket on which offerings and food are placed at Japanese Shinto rituals and meals.

Most of them are finished with wood or lacquer on top of wood,
but this one is finished only with bamboo and Chinese moonseed vines.

“Caution”
At the time this photo was taken, it is a strong green color,
but this green will soon fade and turn to yellow and amber color.
Please note that the color may change from the photo when you receive the product.
