This is a tall, big flower vase basket.
This basket is made entirely from Madake bamboo and Chinese moonseed vines.
Named “Sēkai Chakago”.
This basket is woven with strips of thinly peeled strips of the hard enamel outer skin of the bamboo.
This process allows the color to change over time to a deeper amber color and shines with a glossy appearance.
Chakago(=Tea leaves basket) are used to put plucked tea leaves together and used as backpacks.
The actual tea basket is said to be about four times larger than this one.
This basket has lost some of its green color and is starting to show amber color.
It will be useful as a practical basket for those who enjoy flowers.
And no matter how much you look at them, you will never get tired of looking at them.
It is recommended to use it as a flower vase, or to place the basket itself as an interior decoration.
