This is the “HARU” series of handbags made of Madake bamboo
and Chinese moonseed vines used abundantly for the handles.
Here is some of the wider and slightly shallower type.
This basket is woven with strips of thinly peeled strips of the hard enamel outer skin of the bamboo.
This process allows the color to change over time to a deeper amber color and shines with a glossy appearance.
“Caution”
At the time this photo was taken, it is a strong green color,
but this green will soon fade and turn to yellow and amber color.

This long sideways length and low height gives it a somewhat modern feel.
