These “scoops” are made from nipa palms that live in Thailand’s mangrove forests.
Here are two sizes, “S” and “L.”
It is neither a basket nor a tray, but a uniquely shaped container.
Locals in Thailand used to use them to water flowers, draw water from wells,
and use them as cups during breaks from farming.
It would be good to put soil directly into this container to grow houseplants or air plants that do not require much watering.
Please be careful when watering plants, as water may leak through the gaps in the leaves.
Although the material is water-resistant, it should be kept as dry as possible.
Please keep the product in a well-ventilated room.
Just decorating it to enjoy its form also seems to be a good idea.
Enjoy “scoop” nipa palm the way you favorite.
