This is a kitchen towel made from Khadi, a handwoven cotton fabric from India.

The texture is pleasantly smooth and dry to the touch, making it very comfortable against the skin.

Khadi towels are highly absorbent and quick-drying—useful in a variety of everyday tasks.
This page features five different patterns.

It also works wonderfully as a dish towel.
When fully unfolded, it’s large enough to wrap around big plates, wine glasses, or tall drinkware for gentle drying.

Beyond the kitchen, it can be used as a hand towel.
Try collecting different designs to suit different uses or assign one to each family member.
It can even be used like a tenugui—perfect for wrapping up lunch boxes and other items.

You can also lay it flat as a placemat.
Since it’s thin and packs flat, it’s easy to fold in half or quarters to suit the size of your table space.

These Khadi towels dry quickly and absorb moisture well.
They also grow softer with every wash, which is always a welcome feature.
A beautiful and practical addition to your daily life
—please choose your favorite design.

–– Series made by “Khadi” ––
Khadi, a traditional Indian cotton fabric,
is made by spinning cotton threads by hand and weaving them on a handloom.
Compared to machine-made mass-produced textiles,
it requires significantly more time and care to create.
This khadi fabric was made in Rajasthan, a region in northwestern India.
It is woven from organic cotton grown naturally
—without irrigation canals and relying almost entirely on rainwater.
Because the cotton is hand-spun, small remnants of the cotton plant
—such as bits of calyx—sometimes remain in the fibers.
Although it is 100% cotton, the fabric has a rustic texture that resembles linen.
This khadi series is a branded collection created by Suno & Morrison,
a Japanese-based design studio known for their work with natural materials.
Care Instructions
*We recommend hand-washing, or using a gentle hand-wash cycle with the item placed in a laundry net.
Please wash separately.
*Please note that slight irregularities in color and weave may be visible.
These are natural characteristics of the material.
*Although this item is dyed in India and treated to prevent color bleeding,
slight fading may occur depending on conditions such as the season of yarn dyeing (e.g. monsoon period).
To be safe, we recommend washing it separately from other items.
For indigo-dyed products in particular,
we suggest washing them alone for the first two or three times before use.
*As each piece is hand-dyed and handwoven, the color and pattern may vary slightly from the photos.
Thank you for your understanding.
