No one else in Japan makes cutlery with this kind of coloring,

Was there once a tool shaped like this made of bamboo?
No. Needless to say, there were no such tools.

Of course, there may have been something like this made of other materials,
but bamboo is a material that is uniquely suited for this purpose.
