This is a tissue case made of palm leaves.
“Natural” type is introduced here.
The natural glow of the palm when it is exposed to light and its glossy luster is beautiful, elegant basket.
Soft, fluffy, and gentle to the touch, it has a fresh, raw color and an immaculate image.
As an interior decoration, it will make your space more gorgeous.
— Baskets named “Kottan” —
These baskets are woven from palm leaves,
traditionally made in the region of Chettinad in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
The local people have revived the once nearly extinct techniques through the activities of a non-profit organization,
and the income from the products now provides an additional source of income for the women engaged in farming.
The Kottan series is an original design by Suno & Morrison, a Japanese designer.
The baskets are created in collaboration with the makers, including the size of the baskets,
weaving method, and color scheme.
