This is an antique glass decanter, believed to have been made in the late Meiji to Taisho period (early 20th century).

Its sharp, conical stopper makes a striking impression,
while the slender rising neck and softly cut body combine to create a piece of refined beauty.

The frosted glass stopper fits neatly into the neck, enhancing the seal inside.
Gentle cut patterns decorate the body, catching the light and giving it a sparkling expression.

Originally made for pouring liqueur or wine, this decanter today has a presence simply as a display piece.
It can also be enjoyed as a small flower vase, holding a single bloom.
There are signs of age such as surface wear or fine scratches on the stopper and body,
as well as some cloudiness remaining inside the glass. However, there are no cracks or breaks,
and it remains in good overall condition.
The interior has been cleaned, so it can be used either as an ornament or in practical use.
With its subdued brilliance, this piece carries the quiet atmosphere unique to Meiji–Taisho era glassware,
ready to be welcomed into daily life today.
