With its solid cylindrical form and a neck that rises straight upward,
the small mouth recalls its origin as a sake vessel, though today it serves as a container for flowers.

The surface has a subdued, darkened tone,
with fine dimples and uneven coloration in places—clear traces of tin that has aged over many years.

A slender glass tube is included, sized to fit neatly inside the tokkuri,
allowing water to be added for arranging flowers and greenery.

The glass tube can be removed by lifting it out with a finger, making it easy to clean and maintain.
