This is a lidded glass syrup bottle, believed to have been made in the early to mid-Showa period (1920s–1950s).

With its clean tapered form and a lid topped with a small knob, it has a sharp yet elegant presence.

It was likely used at the time to store and measure medicinal syrups or sweetened drinks.
In the glass, you can see tiny air bubbles and the gentle waviness characteristic of old glass bottles.
There are signs of age such as light surface wear or slight distortions,
but no cracks or breaks, and the piece remains in good overall condition.
The interior has been cleaned, so it can be used with confidence.

Today, it can serve as a container for small items, sweets, tea leaves, or spices.
Simply placing it on a shelf or counter brings a clear, refined atmosphere,
while the wavering texture of the glass adds warmth.
Even when left empty, the way it catches the light can be quietly soothing.
Though it has passed through many decades, this glass bottle continues to radiate beauty.
We hope you will enjoy using it in your everyday life.
