These are steaming cloths designed for use with steamers.

We offer it in three sizes—S, M, and L—
to fit the mini Japanese steamers, premium Japanese steamers, and Chinese steamers available at our store.

The fabric itself is made from both domestic and Chinese cotton, and all sewing and final finishing are done at a factory in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Using a steaming cloth makes it easy to lift fine-grained foods such as rice after steaming,
and it is also convenient when steaming several ingredients together,
for example, bean sprouts, mushrooms, and cabbage—you can lift everything out at once with ease.
As the food steams, a wonderful aroma fills the air,
and when it’s ready, opening the lid and lifting the steaming cloth by its corners
to transfer the food to a plate or bowl brings a small moment of joy.
Please note that the steaming cloth becomes very hot immediately after steaming—handle with care to avoid burns.
Before use, soak the steaming cloth well in water and wring it out lightly, just as you would with a steamer.
After use, rinse thoroughly to remove food residue, wring it tightly, and let it air dry in a well-ventilated area.
You may use a mild detergent if needed, but rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.

If odor remains, boil the cloth for about five minutes with a teaspoon of salt in a pot of water.
A washing machine can also be used, but note that slight shrinkage or deformation may occur.
To prevent the cloth from catching fire,
always tuck the steaming cloth inside the steamer during use.

A steaming cloth not only helps lift food easily but also keeps your steamer clean and in good condition.
It’s a simple tool, but once you use it, you’ll realize how essential it is.
Please check the size and type of your steamer, and choose the cloth that suits your needs.
